
| These MAGC meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. * November 15: Ginny Bellamy, MAGC founder, past president and program director of MAGC and Master Gardener since 2006, will speak about the Master Gardener Program and the Master Gardener scholarship that MAGC will be awarding in December of 2011. We will collect canned vegetables for We Care. * December 20: MAGC annual potluck, Christmas party and Yankee gift exchange (for all those that wish to participate). This meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Members and guests only, please. Scholarship winner, Katie Kreig , will speak with us about her first semester at the University of Illinois and will speak about her major, Agricultural Accounting. We will collect cans of fruit (not fruit cocktail, please) for We Care. January 17: To be announced. We will collect canned meats (tuna, ham, chicken, salmon, etc.) for We Care. February 21: To be announced. We will collect peanut butter and grape jelly for We Care. March 20: Diane Lucas, past MAGC president and program director, will have a demonstration on garden stakes made from colored bottles and glass vases, saucers and tea cups. Start collecting those to make (or donate). We will collect toothpaste, soap, deodorant for We Care. Friends are always welcome! Come grow with us. |
